Another bruiser falls victim to The Bear Magnet!

The title says it all! Bear Magnet Team Member Bill Chesher downs a bruiser Ontario black bear sow which tipped the scales at 442 Lbs. Congratulations Billy! You've had a GREAT season. Pictures are now posted.

Opening Week Report

Well the first week of the Ontario bear hunting season has gone by with only 2 of the Bear Magnet Team Members having success. Bill & Mary Chesher have connected with a couple of nice bears and recovered both, pictures will be posted soon. The remaining 6 members have not yet had the opportunity to harvest a nice bear. Our weekend stay with Artic Edge Outfitters of McArthur Mills, ON was a great time! Unfortunately the long weekend brought a lot of weekend warriors to the woods, running their 4 wheelers and such. This high activity put the bears at bay until night fall. Our team will be headed back to Ralph Seamons Artic Edge Outfitters in a couple of weeks. We'd like to thank Ralph for an excellent weekend!
